Signal Sync: algorithmic trading bot review
An objective, figures in hand, review of Signal Sync automated trading systems after 7 months of experience.
Tl;dr: -4.28% overall BTC PnL in 7 months, all trades accessible in this Gsheet.
EDIT Nov. 30th: I just discovered Signal Sync is stopping its activities today “due to changes in UK legislation with regards to the banning of derivatives trading”. However the bot remains available via Stacked Invest platform, so below content is still worth reading.
Like many, I’m quite interested in algorithmic trading and the multiplication of independantly developped solutions as well as global automation platforms in the past months seem to confirm I’m definitely not the only one. However the biggest drawback to this is the lack of transparent, accessible data, and the insufficient quantity of neutral reviews one can hardly find when investigating about a solution.
It seems like crypto philosophy has more switched towards “in here for the money” than “in here for the tech” side. Surprising, right? Sure, money management is personal, but I’ll stand by my open-source motto in terms of tips and tools.
I’ve tested several suppliers in this field over the past year and here I’ll be reviewing my experience of Signal Sync. Launched and communicated around April 2020, first trades started through May. I had been informed of the creation of this new platform by an acquaintance who somehow seemed to be partnering their launch, and decided to have a deeper look.
